Job Title: KS3 English and Maths Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Harlow Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Deliver engaging and effective English and Maths tutoring sessions to Key Stage 3 students Develop tailored lesson plans and educational materials to support individual student needs Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians Collaborate with school staff to ensure alignment with curriculum objectives Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: At least 2 years of experience in teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the Key Stage 3 English and Maths curriculum Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences Proficiency in using educational technology and resources Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds Working Conditions: This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing tutoring services in English and Maths to Key Stage 3 students in the East of England. The tutor will need to travel to different locations (students homes) within Essex, including Harlow, to deliver outreach sessions.
