The Role
Cloudsmith is in hyper-growth mode, and we are taking our event and field marketing function to the next level in 2025! We’ve got a bigger budget and more ground to cover than ever, and we are looking for a rockstar event coordinator to join the team and help expand our global footprint, maximize our impact, and meet our growth goals.
Are you someone who is scrappy and obsessed with all the little details? Are you hungry to learn and grow both by assisting in larger events and owning smaller community programs? Do you lay awake at night thinking of new, creative event ideas? Well, this role may be for you!
Key Responsibilities
* Own administrative tasks and support Global Event Lead in the production elements of larger trade shows as assigned, including coordinating team travel, post-event budget reconciliation, shipping, printing, and procurement.
* Own project management, sponsor activations, team travel, and logistics for UK and EMEA-based small-scale community event sponsorships.
* Oversee event execution logistics and interlock with campaigns, product announcements, social and PR in support of events.
* Assist in development and implementation of event communication strategies.
* Inform program strategy by analyzing data and reporting results.
* Coordinate the design of various event materials, both print and digital.
Required Experience, Qualities & Skills
* 1-3 years of experience in event management with the desire to learn more about Field Marketing.
* Dedication to teamwork and collaboration complemented by a self-starter, go-getter attitude.
* Proven track record handling complex projects simultaneously with multiple stakeholders.
* Detail-oriented, data-driven, and able to think and plan proactively and ahead of schedule.
* Experience in vendor management (e.g. hotels/event venues, production/AV vendors, broadcast partners, creative agencies) and managing show budgets.
* Availability and excitement to travel domestically and internationally to support onsite event logistics.
Bonus Points
* Experience working in a start-up or nonprofit environment.
* B2B SaaS and/or agency experience is a plus.
* Self-starter with a “can do” attitude.
