Head of IT PMO

Lead and manage Digital & IT PMO ensuring that is the single source of the truth with regards to project management information and data.
Continually improve the PMO Run and Manage and develop the stage gate process across the function and the portfolio. Maintain oversight of all portfolio reporting. Manage a small team focused on portfolio and programme management.
Be the OPC system owner and Technology Business Management lead for Rolls-Royce. Conduct ongoing data quality reviews and work closely with source data owners ensuring that data quality processes are in place to provide on-time delivery of the global reporting across the IT teams.

What you will be doing:
We’re at a key point in our journey for the PPMO in IT. We have carried out a strategic review of our people, processes, and tools with engagement of the IT Leadership team and the extended Leadership team and we’re looking to increase our capability from where we are today. We are looking for someone to work alongside the Head of PPMO to lead the change and take our plans forward including working with the existing PPMO team, the wider IT team, and our suppliers. You’ll be making an impact across Rolls-Royce and shaping the future of our business through:
* Delivering the roadmap across the PPMO improvement plan.
* Driving the process change required to ensure our projects improve their delivery performance to time, cost, and quality. A key focus will be on the Portfolio Management Demand process and ensuring we have a tailored delivery process.
* Improving the standards and governance of our projects – setting the standard in terms of what each project will deliver to improve the outcomes.
* Raising the capability of our project delivery by implementing a community of practice and leading the capability development of the organisation.
* Implementing our tooling strategy in line with enterprise architecture.
* Implementing the change management and cultural plan alongside the technical and process changes associated with the transformation.

* Strong experience of change management methodologies.
* Recent senior level experience in delivering PPMO transformation.
* Experience of leading large scale change programmes in relation to PPMO including implementing process change.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels including senior business leadership.
* Experience leading virtual teams and setting up global networks.
* Experience with a range of portfolio and programme management tooling.
* Experience in a de-centralised IT environment.
