Sunsynk Group Limited is globally headquartered in the UK with a centralized R&D department in the UK, supported by teams in Hong Kong and South Africa.
Reporting to the UK Managing Director in this newly created position as the Commercial Business Development Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives targeting the Commercial and Industrial sectors for Sunsynk's key products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities will include:
1. Identifying and securing new customers in sectors that require advanced renewable power solutions.
2. Analyzing market coverage to identify gaps and devise direct sales strategies to address them.
3. Working closely with stakeholders from Research and Development, Technical, Creative Services, and the broader sales team to develop effective go-to-market strategies.
4. Cultivating relationships with key accounts and contributing to establishing partnerships.
5. Strategically deepening market presence, particularly within existing sectors such as house building, to enhance product demand through specifications or approvals.
6. Effectively utilizing CRM tools to track customer interactions, quotes, leads, and other critical data.
7. Establishing best-in-class processes that are scalable for team growth and can be shared across global business units.
To be considered for this role, you will have a track record in technical Sales and Business Development, be an excellent communicator, and a natural at building relationships.
Experience in the Solar, Renewable Energy, Power Demand, or Battery/Inverter sectors is not essential but would be beneficial.
