A full-time Project and Configuration Manager role is available in the Home Counties, with a focus on delivering end-to-end project management for engineering and technical solutions. This position involves leading projects from the initial scoping stage through to final delivery, ensuring quality outcomes on time and within budget. The role combines project planning, supplier coordination, and technical oversight, including hands-on use of CAD/Revit tools and configuration support. Regular travel to customer and partner sites is expected, along with flexible homeworking.
Role Overview
Lead end-to-end project delivery from planning to completion.
Support presales activities with quoting, scoping, and site surveys.
Manage project plans, timelines, and budgets across departments.
Oversee all configuration and support activities.
Coordinate with suppliers to manage delivery and technical input.
Produce technical documentation including schematics and drawings.
Use design software (CAD/Revit) to support technical requirements.
Maintain accurate project records and post-project documentation.
Translate technical information for non-technical audiences.
Lead and manage project engineers and cross-functional teams.
Experience & Skills Required
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
Proven experience managing complex, multi-trade projects.
Skilled in using CAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Previous experience in technical estimation and quantity surveying.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Recognised project management qualification (preferred).
Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
Technical qualification related to design or engineering (preferred).
Experience managing direct reports and external suppliers.

Salary :- Negotiable Base salary, 9% pension, 25 days hols + bank holidays & Health package
