Are you an avid Design & Technology Teacher seeking a new opportunity? GSL Education are excited to offer a role for a dedicated Design & Technology Teacher at a vibrant secondary school in Broadstairs. As a Design & Technology Teacher at the client school, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students, developing their creativity and technical skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities of Design & Technology Teacher:
• Teach Design & Technology to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Develop and deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum and syllabus.
• Provide individual and small group support to help students achieve their full potential.
• Assist students with SEND needs, adapting teaching methods to support individual requirements.
• Prepare and manage lesson plans to ensure a stimulating learning experience.
• Create a positive learning environment and encourage active student participation.
Job Requirements of Design & Technology Teacher:
• QTS or equivalent qualifications such as PGCE, NQT, or ECT is required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design & Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Design & Technology Teacher in a secondary school setting.
• Ability to develop and implement effective lesson plans and teaching strategies.
• Experience in working with students with SEND needs is advantageous.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
