Role: 121 and Class support of SEN pupils of mixed ages

A brilliant SEN school in Grantham are recruiting for 4x Support Assistants to start ASAP. The school is based in the heart of Grantham, easily commutable by car, bus, or train; with the school being a 20 minute walk from the train station. Split into two campuses, this school helps to support a range of additional needs, from ASD and ADHD, to Anxiety and fruther SEMH, to physical disorders and more. Details for the roles that are required here can be found below:
* GCSE Support: This role includes 121 and Class support of Year 10 and Year 11 pupils. Responsibilities focus around supporting pupils with their GCSE learning.
* Year 4 SEMH Support: This role is to work 121 with a Year 4 pupil who experiences SEMH-related challenges. Responsibilities focus on the pupil's daily routine and lesson plan, aiding in their learning and helping to create a calm, safe environment.
* Year 7 to Year 9 ASD Support: This role is to support on a Class basis in the school's KS3 department. Responsibilties include supporting ASD pupils in their KS3 learning. The severity of ASD ranges with a few pupils being non-verbal.
* EYFS Support: This role includes supporting the EYFS class. Filled with laughter and fun, this class is a wonderful start for anybody who is looking to gain experience in SEN support. Responsibilities focus on whole Class support of pupils with a range of SEN.
Requirements for the roles:
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service. If you do not have one, we can start an application for you.
* Experience in supporting SEN individuals, either children or adults. This can be professional or personal experience.
* The ability to commit to the standard working hours of the school (8:30 - 15:30).
* The ability to travel to the school.
If you have any qualifications related to SEN support and/or Education, please highlight this on your application. This is not essential however, beneficial.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
