Job Description:
The Talent Set are delighted to be working with a fantastic health charity to find their next Supporter Engagement Officer.
As a Supporter Engagement Officer, you will proactively engage, build relationships, and provide high levels of stewardship to a variety of supporters. You will be responsible for day-to-day engagement with a large portfolio of supporters, as well as thanking and engaging with new individual supporters and fundraisers. You will play a key role in engaging and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and, with support, manage and develop the Individual Giving pipeline. You will also creatively engage supporters to get involved in high-value campaigns, events, and the regular giving programme.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide first-class supporter care to individual donors and fundraisers in person, on the phone, via email, and social media.
2. Ensure timely and relevant thank you messaging, correspondence, and updates about the charity.
3. Supply supporters with fundraising materials and promotional collateral as needed.
4. Use the database effectively to ensure correct engagement and thanks for supporters.
5. Work with the Senior Head of Community and Supporter Engagement & Partnerships to develop insights supporting the fundraising programme.
6. Develop and implement rich supporter journeys that build lifelong engaged relationships.
7. Develop integrated data systems for standout supporter-led journeys and engagement programmes.
Person Specification:
1. Experience of Supporter Care or Individual giving fundraising, or transferable skills from another sector.
2. Experience managing a supporter/customer database.
3. Understanding of social media.
4. Experience establishing and managing effective external relationships.
5. Dedicated to maintaining regular communication with supporters/customers for long-term relationship development.
