Role: Procurement Manager
Type: Permanent - Full Time
Salary: £49,764 to £52,805
2 days a week in the office
Location: Leicestershire
Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Procurement Manager for our Local Authority client.
The Responsibilities of the Procurement Manager will be;
Manage the team to deliver procurement and deliver compliant and cost-effective procurement of high value/risk goods, works and/or services
Reviewing current procurement practices, contracts and identifying new and innovative ways of delivering services through procurement and implementing these
To facilitate cultural change across the organisation to deliver effective and efficient procurement
Reduce the environmental impact of the organisation's procurement activity
Implementing and promoting the organisation's policies and procedures relating to all areas of employment and service delivery.
The Ideal candidate for the Procurement Manager will have;
CIPS qualified or equivalent Procurement qualification
Experience in Procurement Management in Public Sector organisations (essential)
Experience in tendering and contract management processes
Confident ICT user - Microsoft Office, Excel & Procurement systems
Strong relationship building and stakeholder management.
