ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Brand and Content Marketing Manager UK role is responsible for delivering high-impact marketing campaigns to drive awareness, consideration, and engagement for Audible's portfolio of content. You will be a passionate book and audio advocate, a skilled organizer with strong people skills, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities. You will build strong working relationships with colleagues, authors and agents to provide the highest level of author care.
The position is initially open through a 18-Month Contract.
As a Content Marketing Manager, you will...
1. Develop, coordinate and deliver successful marketing campaigns across a diverse range of titles that drive audience engagement and discovery.
2. Be plugged in to consumer trends in publishing with a finger on the pulse of new and emerging platforms and communities.
3. Brief your list of talented designers and write excellent copy to ensure you produce best-in-class, attention-grabbing campaign creative and consumer messaging across all your assets and marketing material.
4. Be commercially minded, curious and inclusive in your approach, bringing diversity of thought and innovation into the marketing team by looking outside the business for ideas and inspiration to share with the team and improve our work.
5. Work with the in-house AV team on the capture of materials where relevant and represent Audible and the Marketing team on shoots, both in-house and on-location.
6. Bring together your experience with audience insight to provide feedback on acquisitions and lead on the creation of pitch documents for prospective authors.
7. Devise content strategy for social channels in partnership with talent and authors.
8. Work with internal partners and agencies to create insightful and actionable post-campaign reporting and analysis that can improve the efficacy and quality of Audible campaigns.
9. Liaise with internal stakeholders (Marketing teams, Legal, Merchandising, Business Affairs, Studios, etc.) on the delivery of quality and timely Original Content assets.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience in a marketing, social or content team with recent experience in a publishing role that drives measurable results.
2. Campaign management experience across paid, owned and earned.
3. Experience managing agencies or freelance creatives.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. This is not a role where you’ll need to create content, but it’s helpful if you know your way around Photoshop, and are confident speaking to & directing creatives.
2. Have a passion for audiobooks, podcasts, or the wider literary world and have the ability to share that passion with others.
3. A strong understanding of talent and agent liaison; experience working with talent.
4. Experience in digital content services (either download to own and/or streaming).
5. A ‘culture vulture’ who is motivated by contributing to the cultural landscape and platforming stories that need to be heard.
6. Excellent communication skills both in spoken and written English.
7. Impeccable people skills, both in terms of maintaining internal relationships and fostering external ones.
8. Strong analytical capability and a solid understanding of success metrics.
9. Strong bias for action and ability to get things done.
10. Excellent organisation and administrative abilities.
