Venn Group has been approached by a private company who are looking for a temporary to permanent Purchase Ledger Clerk.
Position: Purchase Ledger Clerk
Location: Rochdale
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per year
Length: Temporary to permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours p/week
The role will involve:
* Processing a high volume of invoices
* Dealing with customer queries via email and telephone
* Handling bank and statement reconciliations
* General bookkeeping duties
* Monitoring a purchase ledger email inbox, handling queries
* Communicating with stakeholders including chasing suppliers
* Preparing BACS payments and weekly pay runs
* Support the Management Accountant with financial processes and improvements
* Assisting in training of other colleagues
Minimum Requirements:
The successful candidate must have previous experience in a similar role, have a basic knowledge of Excel including VLOOKUPs/Pivot Tables, and be available at short notice.
