The Role
Vision for Education is currently recruiting a Primary Teacher for a Year 1 Teacher role in Leeds to start January 2025. This will be a long term role until May 2025 at the earliest. The ideal candidate will have recent experience working as a Teacher in a Primary School and have experience of teaching in KS1, particularly Year 1, and have working knowledge of KS1 expectations and the curriculum. Your phonics knowledge should be strong and up to date.
You will work with the year group partner and under the direction of the Phase Leader. There will be a full time teaching assistant working in your classroom.

This 'good' primary two form school in Leeds welcomes a diverse range of pupils and is therefore looking for a candidate that can communicate effectively with pupils from a variety of backgrounds.
Requirements
The desired Primary Teacher will have:
1. Experience teaching Year 1
2. Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
3. A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
