Our Finance Global Shared Service Centre based on the CSL Seqirus site in Liverpool (Speke) supports our 3 main businesses: CSL Behring, CSL Seqirus and CSL Vifor globally. We are looking to hire a Cash Manager.This role is part of the Accounting Transaction team and is responsible for overseeing Cash and Bank Management Analysts (including performing complex transactions), and ensuring cash obligations, compliance and control are met. The role will contribute to project and continuous improvement activities within the global shared service centre and across CSL group.Reporting to the Associate Director, Head of Accounting Transaction Management and Systems.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day to day work of Cash & Bank Analysts including managing work assignment, review of quality and assisting with queriesProvide guidance and approvals to complex cash and bank transactions in line with policies and proceduresCoordinate with Treasury to ensure cash flow obligations are met.Coordinate with the wider Accounting Transaction and ATR teams ensuring all cash transactions are posted in a timely and accurate mannerEnsure team is adhering to compliance & controls in all activities.Support and contribute to ad hoc projects and continuous improvement activitiesCoordinate with payroll and AP to ensure payments are set up and approved in a timely mannerDevelop appropriate metrics and use them to monitor and report on team performanceSupport on SLAs (Service Level Agreements) defined as part of the service management frameworkLead, motivate and develop employees within the team including long-term talent development and succession planning. Manage performance with a focus on meeting service agreements and continuously enhancing Finance staff, while role modelling CSL ValuesProvide support and respond to requests for internal and external Audits, as directedMaintain effective working relationships with banking partners to ensure smooth operations and appropriate support.Skills & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline; MBA or other qualifications in related field5+ years’ experience in finance, in cash managementExperience in global scientific/pharmaceutical industry highly desirableSAP experienceLeadership and organisational skillsThe ability to think through complex issuesTimely decision making and priority settingThe position also requires the ability to maintain sound relationships and collaborate effectively with multiple levels and cross functionallyThis role is based out of our Financial Shared Service Centre, Speke, Liverpool.
