Digital Waffle has partnered with a rapidly expanding marketing agency to find a Junior Strategist As a Junior Strategist, you'll support the Strategy team by providing insights, conducting research, and helping shape strategic recommendations. You’ll collaborate with Strategy, Creative, Client Services, and delivery teams to ensure strategies are developed, handed over, and optimised for impact. Salary - £32K Location - Manchester (hybrid) Responsibilities: Independently conduct research and analysis, tracking social trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity using tools like GlobalWebIndex. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and shifts in digital marketing to enhance insights and recommendations. Contribute to strategy development by gathering insights that help shape campaign direction. Assist in briefing execution teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment with campaign objectives. Monitor strategy performance, identifying gaps and opportunities for optimisation. Participate in strategy check-ins with cross-functional teams to ensure execution, measurement, and necessary optimisations. Collaborate with agency teams to ensure strategies are creative, compelling, and aligned with campaign goals. Work alongside senior strategists to identify key insights and build strong strategies. Develop a solid understanding of clients and their industries to ensure strategies are relevant and impactful. Join client meetings, supporting senior team members in presenting insights and recommendations. Ensure client-facing documents meet high standards of accuracy and quality. Help review creative work to ensure it meets client expectations and requests. Assist in preparing pitch decks, collecting data, and contributing innovative ideas to support new business efforts.
