Lead Account Manager

Description
Your role, as Lead Account Manager is to be responsible for building and leading a strong Account Management team, driving KPIs and embedding a best-in-class high performance culture. Reporting into the Chief Revenue Officer, you will drive revenue growth and retention within the UK territory.
Based from our Paddington office, you will initially focus on recruiting a strong in-office Account Management team, as well as leading the existing team members. This position is a hands-on management role that requires strong influencing skills, critical thinking and a determined approach to achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Identifying opportunities to cross sell/up sell existing customers to continue market growth
* Instilling a culture of productivity and high performance by developing and motivating a team of Sales professionals
* Utilising systems and tools to monitor KPIs, track pipeline funnel and provide reports to senior leadership
* Attracting, onboarding and developing A+ sales talent and embedding a strong sales culture in our London Paddington office
* Deploying department objectives that align with the global Sales organisation goals and overall business strategy
* Maintain a healthy sales funnel, engaging customers frequently and managing key relationships to increase revenue growth
* Report on pipeline and quota attainment by rep on a weekly/monthly basis
* Continuously looking for opportunities to improve Sales practices and processes
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Extensive account management experience with a proven track record of success – exceeding revenue targets and building lasting customer relationships
* B2B legal software or SaaS specific sales management experience is preferred
* Experience in recruiting and building a high performing account management team
* Practical experience in implementing KPIs to manage team activity and performance
* Demonstrated ability to implement and effectively manage team’s pipeline and develop forecasts
* Working knowledge and practical experience in the application of Sales methodologies and best practice
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM
* Strong communication and influencing skills
* Process driven, with the ability to utilise data to analyse trends, make decisions and improve practices
* Sound organisational skills
* Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
