We are looking for a Trainee Property Manager. What You Can Expect
* Location – Harlow (Hybrid – 2 days a week in the office)
* Salary – Up to £30,000
* Work type – Permanent
Main Responsibilities as a Trainee Property Manager
* Managing a portfolio of residential blocks, ensuring the delivery of high-quality property management services.
* Liaising with leaseholders, residents, contractors, and third parties to resolve issues promptly.
* Overseeing routine and reactive maintenance, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Preparing and managing service charge budgets, ensuring costs are monitored and managed effectively.
* Conducting regular site inspections to ensure buildings are well-maintained and repairs are carried out efficiently.
* Attending AGM meetings and managing key relationships with residents’ associations and freeholders.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant property legislation and industry regulations.
* Managing contractor relationships and monitoring performance to ensure efficient service delivery.
* Handling insurance renewals and claims, as well as other administrative duties as required.
Core Experience, Skills & Requirements
* Proven experience in property management, ideally within block management.
* Strong understanding of property legislation and compliance requirements.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with service charge budgeting and financial management.
