Kirkland Associates are seeking a motivated and skilled Engineering Workshop Manager for our client who are a leader within the alternative fuels market. Due to continued growth, this is a newly created role and is of crucial importance to provide project development and support to the Workshop Technicians.
Engineering Workshop Manager - The role
1. Manage, develop and provide technical support to a team of skilled and in training technicians
2. Ensure workshop procedures are in place and adhered to
3. Liaise with the Technical Manager to assess, support and progress infrastructure projects
4. Monitor and control progress of jobs to ensure tasks are completed in line with project costings and timelines
5. Develop long-term relationships with the team through managing and interpreting their requirements in the short, medium and long term
Engineering Workshop Manager - The person
6. Qualified to Degree level or equivalent OR Apprenticeship trained dependant on industry & experience
7. Production Engineering experience (Mechanical or Electrical)
8. Demonstrate strong interpersonal & communication skills
9. Proven ability to instil and sustain high standards of quality and service
10. Committed to drive net zero emissions and decarbonisation plans for UK fleets
