We are now seeking a Senior Facilities Officer to assist the Facilities Management Team to maintain an attractive, safe, clean, and welcoming College as well as a calm purposeful learning environment. Youll be the single point of contact for all requests for repairs, faults, and other maintenance requests from staff, ensuring that all faults are logged on the College helpdesk system. Along with the site services team you will assist in providing first line response to repairs requests covering non-plant equipment, fabric, plumbing, carpentry, decorative repairs, porterage duties and maintain key inventories and stock. Youll be undertaking weekly inspections of the roofs, gutters, basements and the fabric maintenance of the building and to report defects to the Facilities Manager. Wed like you to be experienced in working with and overseeing contractors and be able to work under pressure to strict deadlines. Youll have working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and procedures and be able to identify and implement improvements in existing procedures and systems. Were looking for someone who has experience within the facilities industry and can work alongside and deputise for the Facilities Manager as and when required.
