The appointed person will work within a challenging and dynamic role. You will need to be enthusiastic and confident, together with an attitude focussed towards meeting the needs/aim of the pupils.

Manor Green Primary is an ‘outstanding’ Special School for children aged 2 -11. We are a generic learning disability school with a range of special educational and complex learning needs including moderate learning disability, severe learning disability, profound and multiple disability, ASC and other co-occurring needs.
We are looking to appoint a class teacher to cover maternity leave.

• Ideally have experience of teaching pupils with a range of learning difficulties or a teacher with a commitment to learning how best to support our pupils to achieve their full potential

• Be highly organised and able to plan, deliver and reflect on best practice within the classroom and as part of the wider school

• Be interested in developing their knowledge, skills and understanding of SEN

Duties may be varied to meet the changing demands of the school and the governing body, at the reasonable direction of the Headteacher. This is to be performed in accordance with the provisions of the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions document and the range of teachers’ duties set out in that document. It is expected that you will adhere to the Core and Extension elements on the National SEN Specialist Standards.
