Project Manager - New Build
Salary: up to £100k + package

We are working with a Leading Residential Developer who is experiencing huge growth. My client has a reputation for high-quality design and build, sound governance, and good management practices. Their experience has been recognized with various awards, including Home Builders Federation's (HBF) 5-star house builder status, In-house's Gold award, and a number of WhatHouse? Awards.
Together we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee a prestigious development in Cambridge. The project involves 198 traditional houses and flats, featuring a concrete podium and six blocks of up to five storeys. The successful candidate will report directly to the Construction Director and will have full autonomy in managing stakeholders, project timelines, budgets, site teams, and ensuring successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and manage the project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
2. Monitor the project's financials, track costs, and ensure the project stays within budget.
3. Lead and coordinate the project team, including contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and other stakeholders.
4. Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
5. Ensure that construction work meets quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
6. Identify potential risks to the project, and develop and implement mitigation strategies.
7. Enforce health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment on-site.
8. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates.
9. Track construction progress against the project timeline, making adjustments as needed to ensure on-time delivery.
10. Ensure all necessary permits are obtained and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
11. Oversee the final stages of construction, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client.
