SEN Teaching Assistant – Bury St Edmunds (January 2025 or Sooner) A highly regarded SEMH/SEN school group is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their exceptional team at their Bury St Edmunds site. This permanent role is available from January 2025, with an earlier start date if possible. This school group is renowned for providing outstanding support for students with Special Educational Needs and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. The successful candidate will work closely with students across various age groups, providing tailored support to enhance their learning experience. Key Requirements: Experience supporting students with SEN or SEMH needs in an educational setting. A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach. Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, students, and families. The ability to support and implement individual education plans (IEPs). Relevant qualifications (such as a Teaching Assistant qualification) or experience in a similar role. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
