Job Description
Purpose:
1. Perform Analyst duties supporting company & EUROPE Ocean Product strategy
2. Manage Regional RFQs and Europe portion of Network RFQ.
Summary:
3. Perform Analyst duties for Ocean Pricing in EUROPE with vision, leadership, energy, professionalism and support in conjunction with the Global Ocean Group(s).
4. Manage Ocean Pricing for RFQs from within EUROPE and manage EUROPE Ocean Pricing for RFQs generated in other regions.
Key Responsibilities:
5. Coordinate RFQs:
6. Review RFQ from CRM
7. Communicate with Sales, Account Management, Product and build strategy
8. Collaborate with stakeholders and Product
9. Perform data analysis using Excel and Power BI
10. Identify opportunities and challenges
11. Manage deadlines
12. Follow up on RFQ outcome
13. RFQ Execution:
14. Convert customer formats
15. Insert / integrate pricing based on tools and in line with strategy
16. Communicate to the field
17. Manage responses
18. Audit responses and make cohesive
19. Maintain communication per DRP (Document Retention Policy)
20. General Support:
21. Update RFQ Bid Log / Pricing Tool in a timely manner
22. Maintain RFQ tools such as local charges, port to port rates and tariffs, as required
23. Support Supervisor/Manager where needed
24. Support team and Sales with pre-engagement for upcoming bids
25. Actively engage in and support Pricing projects assigned by Manager
26. Maintain adherence to The Company’s policy and procedures while displaying and communicating the Company’s goals and culture
