The Role
We are seeking talented .NET Engineers to join our teams at Leighton, where we specialise in delivering innovative technology solutions for our customers. Our projects are focused on enhancing customer experiences and optimising business operations through cutting-edge technologies like AI, machine learning, and cloud-based infrastructures.
You'll be part of a dynamic environment, working with modern tech stacks, including .NET, C#, Azure, and microservices architectures. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that push the boundaries of technology, while helping our customers stay ahead of the curve.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain robust .NET applications and microservices
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build intuitive UIs for staff and customer interactions
* Work on cloud-based solutions using Azure to optimise system performance and scalability
* Contribute to integrating SAP systems (experience preferred but not essential)
* Mentor junior developers and ensure best coding practices
* Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, and debugging efforts
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
* Experience in .NET/C# development.
* Strong understanding of microservices architecture and cloud platforms like Azure
* Familiarity with API development and Event Driven Architecture
* Experience in designing and implementing scalable back-end services
* Full-stack development capabilities, with a focus on backend engineering
* Passion for building innovative solutions for retail and point-of-sale systems
* Exposure to machine learning, AI, and prescriptive modeling is a plus
* Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
