It is an independent day school for girls and boys aged from 3 to 18. The school is picturesque and has state of the art facillities. It is also a very friendly and supportive environment; a place where Teachers genuinly enjoy working. This carries over to the English Department, where the current team of six feel well looked after by the Head of English. The school also has good transport links although parking is provided. Behaviour across the school is good but tou will be expected to provide lessons to a high standard. As an English Teacher at the school, you will: • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons. • Assess and provide feedback to students. • Collaborate with other English department members in engaging in departmental activities. • Utilise a range of teaching and learning styles to engage and challenge students. In order to qualify for the position, you will: • Hold a relevant degree qualification and Qualified Teacher Status. • Have experience teaching English. • Be able to inspire and motivate students. • Have a strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
