About the role: Location – Barry Pay - £83.85 per day Start Date – ASAP (Pending Vetting Requirements) Hours - 8:30-3:30 (mon-fri) Job Description Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit reliable and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in Primary Schools based in the Vale of Glamorgan. The role as a Teaching Assistant will consist of supporting the children and teacher within the class and contributing to the positive school environment. If flexible work is what you are looking for, you will have full access to your diary using our Teaching Personnel app. Essential Criteria: Providing general classroom support for the children and teacher Working with students who require additional support and leading interventions Preparing resources ready for lessons Help to maintain a clean and tidy classroom environment Ability to create relationships with the staff, parents and children in the schoool Recruitment Criteria: Enhanced DBS (Child Only) checks must be completed before the role will commence. EWC registration required which is mandatory requirement in Wales. Experience personally or in a working environment with children (desirable).
