Job Description
Distribution Manager will be responsible for:
* Strategies and implement distribution plans
* Oversee the distribution process to ensure timely delivery
* Maintain and monitor department KPIs
* Collaborate with other departments for effective operation
* Implement continuous improvement and change management processes
* Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies
* Manage relationships with suppliers and clients
* Implement cost-saving strategies and efficiency improvements
* Train and lead distribution team members
* Present to senior management and the board
The Successful Applicant
A successful Distribution Manager should have:
* Experience in managing logistics distribution and supply chain operations
* Proven people leader with the ability to engage with all across the business
* Demonstrate continuous improvement success
* Comfortable with implementing change management
* Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytically mindset
* Proficient in WMS
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels within the business
* Previous responsibility for 50+ people
* Management within complex warehouse and distribution operations
* Commutable to Leeds
