As we continue to grow, we are looking for a proactive and skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations across all BVC Group locations.
POSITION SUMMARY
As Maintenance Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation, upkeep, and functionality of all BVC Group venues. Your responsibilities will include managing daily maintenance tasks, coordinating with subcontractors, and handling urgent repairs to maintain the high standards that define our brand.
This role requires a hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ensuring our venues remain in top condition. You will work closely with site managers and the wider operations team to keep our spaces running efficiently and safely.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Perform general maintenance tasks, including repairs, redecoration, and handyman duties, to uphold high standards across all locations.
* Handle plumbing, electrical, and mechanical maintenance (qualifications in these areas are a significant advantage).
* Oversee subcontractors and external vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
* Conduct regular inspections to proactively identify and address maintenance needs.
* Support the launch of new venues by ensuring maintenance readiness pre- and post-opening.
* Respond to urgent maintenance requests, including out-of-hours work when necessary.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all tasks and locations.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
* Proven experience in a maintenance or facilities management role, ideally within the hospitality sector.
* Qualifications or certifications in plumbing, electrical, or mechanical trades are a plus.
* Skilled in general maintenance, repairs, and redecoration tasks.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented mindset.
* Experience using project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) and communication platforms (e.g., Slack) is an advantage.
* Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work outside of standard hours when necessary.
* Right to work in the UK is essential for this role.
