Requirements:
* Valid and active Speech-Language Pathologist State license
Responsibilities:
* Assess speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders comprehensively.
* Diagnose the type and severity of communication issues via clinical evaluations and diagnostic tests.
* Create personalized treatment plans aligned with each patient's specific needs and goals.
* Deliver therapy to enhance articulation, fluency, voice, comprehension, and expression.
* Address swallowing disorders and promote safe swallowing practices.
* Provide guidance on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices when required.
* Educate patients and families on strategies and exercises for improved communication and swallowing.
* Continuously assess and document patient progress, adapting treatment plans as needed.
* Collaborate closely with a healthcare team, including physicians, therapists, and educators, for holistic care.
* Maintain precise and current patient records, including assessments, plans, and progress notes.
* Assist patients in applying improved communication skills in daily life, school, or work.
* Stay updated on the latest developments in speech-language pathology through professional development activities.
