Business Development Manager Covering Uxbridge/Slough Working for a major distribution company who offer supply chain, transport, and logistics solutions. The Role Seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of local businesses, identifying their logistics needs and offering tailored solutions that help them grow. As a Business Development Manager, you will: Sales and Revenue Targeting: Work to achieve sales and revenue targets that align with the company’s objectives, driving local sales activity and reporting on KPIs to ensure target delivery. Market Research & Prospecting: Research and identify new business opportunities from a variety of sources (CRM’s, online tools, canvassing), including spend trends and market analysis. Sales Strategy: Develop, implement, and execute successful sales strategies and growth plans to expand the client base Marketing Campaign Follow-Up: Ensure effective follow-up on marketing campaigns and leads, leveraging them into tangible business opportunities. Brand Awareness & Networking: Identify and convert new prospects into long-term clients, utilizing a combination of company processes and your own sales experience. Marketing: Identifying and creating and executing marketing material and campaigns (with the aid of the in house, head office based marketing team). Requirements We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about driving business growth and has a proven track record in sales and business development. The ideal candidate will possess: Sales Experience: Proven experience in business development and new client acquisition, ideally within the logistics, transport, or supply chain sector. A strong desire to meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining an entrepreneurial mindset. Customer-Focused: Ability to understand customer pain points and offer tailored solutions. Integrity & Honesty: A strong ethical approach to sales and customer service. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders. Confident: Used to selling on the phone, in person and constructing tailored email’s. Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and CRM software. Full Driving License: A valid UK driving license is required, as the role involves canvassing and client visits within the sales territory
