An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team supporting the build and mobilisation of the National Centre for Child Health Technology (NCCHT) at Sheffield Children's. As a Project Support Officer, you will:
1. Assist the Programme Director and team with planning, coordination, and governance.
2. Provide administrative support.
3. Work collaboratively with our partners.
4. Ensure services are delivered with a focus on patient needs.

Main duties of the job
Reporting into the NCCHT Programme Director, your responsibilities will include:
1. Facilitate communication between workstream leads within the NCCHT team and colleagues across the Trust.
2. Provide admin and data support, including reports, minutes, and documents.
3. Organise meetings for the Programme Director and team.
4. Ensure documentation meets standards and formats.
5. Maintain project and risk logs, escalating issues as required.
6. Track project progress and ensure completion of multiple tasks within given timeframes.
7. Help with data analysis and reporting.
8. Manage the risk and issue register.
9. Help create presentations and reports.
10. Support new team members with office systems.
11. Communicate with suppliers on behalf of the team.

Person Specification
Qualifications & Training
* Recognised qualification in maths and English e.g. GCSE grade A - C or equivalent
* NVQ level 3 in Business and Administration or equivalent experience
* PRINCE2 Foundation
Experience
* Experience and confidence in using Microsoft Office 365
* Experience of producing and presenting reports
* Experience of dealing with staff at all levels
* Experience of supporting administration and business management in a busy and changing environment
* Experience of using a range of different software applications
* Experience in design and formatting to improve communication and engagement
* Experience of working within the NHS
* Experience of presenting to groups of people
