Job Opportunity: Bid Writer
Due to business growth, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Bid Writer to join our client's team in Chandlers Ford.

Responsibilities:
1. Work with the bid team during Request for Information (RFI), Pre-Qualification Questions (PQQ), and Invitation to Tender (ITT) phases to develop clear win strategies for each bid, ensuring compelling win themes.
2. Review all tender documents and resources before bid launch meetings.
3. Support the Tender Manager in producing high-quality tender submissions to achieve business growth in alignment with corporate strategies.
4. Liaise with nominated subject matter experts internally and analyse data externally (from published reports, local strategy documents, and other publicly available data) during tender phases to gather relevant information for each submission.
5. Collaborate with central departments such as Operations, SHEQ, Transport, and Human Resources to address gaps in tender question areas, data, and metrics.
6. Write compelling narratives and draft professional submission responses that meet scoring criteria, based on a solid understanding of the needs and wants of the target audience.
7. Review client feedback and identify areas for improvement to implement lessons learned for future bids.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Educated to A-level standard (degree preferred), ideally within a writing-based discipline.
* Demonstrable experience in successful bid writing, preferably in industries such as plant hire, construction, civil engineering, water, or engineering.
* Ability to interpret and analyse tender request documents to identify relevant criteria.
* Highly organised with good planning and prioritising skills, capable of delivering quality work within strict deadlines.
* Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience with procurement platforms such as Achilles, Ariba, and Jaggaer Bravo Solutions.
* Proficient in AI software such as Copilot and ChatGPT.
* A current Full UK Driving Licence is preferred.
