Client: Our client is a leading player in the London Construction market working across Major Commercial Schemes, Life Sciences and Data Centre Projects. They have also been involved in state of the art sports centres across the UK. They have grown rapidly over the past 10 years and have emerged as a Key Contractor in the London market. They also operate nationwide and overseas, building up a key client base whom they have earned repeat business from.
Role: Senior Commercial Manager- London - Salary up to £135,000 + 5k Car + Travel + Package
The successful candidate will be joining the major projects team. They have recently secured two jobs north of £150m and will be seeking a Senior Individual to lead them both.
Responsibilities:
1. Understanding of disputes resolution including options, structure, techniques, experts.
2. Managing project through PCSA agreement, including negotiation of terms and contract.
3. Management of site based commercial team, including senior surveyors and project level surveyors.
4. Co-ordination of buying, accounts, production control/planning, supply chain management & procurement techniques, estimating & surveying functions.
5. Management and reporting of Commercial Risk and Opportunity.
6. Management of disallowed cost.
7. Provide commercial input to Buildability and Value Engineering reviews.
8. Review tenders & cost data.
9. Co-ordinate the commercial team to ensure programme issues are identified and actioned.
10. Manage the preparation and articulation of the monthly CVR and associated commercial reports.
11. Manage the feedback of commercial data to Planning, Estimating, Marketing and Sales.
12. Lead commercial aspects with Customer and stakeholders.
13. Establish client supply chain requirements & advise on alternative forms of contract & procurement arrangements.
14. Reporting directly into the Commercial Director.
