In 2017, we launched The Big Christmas Press Show, bringing retailers together to launch their Christmas products, a revolutionary concept to support the retail industry to capitalise on its most profitable time of year. We’ve since launched a hugely popular Power Pitching series with over 20 events per year. Clients we work with include Moonpig, Remington, Marks & Spencers, Freemans, B&M, JoJo Maman Bébé, Dr Paw Paw, Cartwright & Butler, Wayfair, Laithwaite’s, Homebase and Wilko.
Driving growth of the business by generating leads through cold calls and scheduled calls, closing business working to set targets and KPIs- pushing new boundaries with support of the sales team
Calling PR & marketing contacts from leading brands, retailers & their PR agencies
Attending other retail industry exhibitions to meet and find new relevant clients
Following processes, using scripts and templates to support your sales outreach
Account Management
Account Management of your clients, building & maintaining relationships, securing repeat business, cross selling, upselling other PR solutions offered by CIJ Group
Having account management calls every 3-6 months
Accountable for collating marketing assets from brands and sharing information / following event processes for brand communication
Sales Support
Managing and updating the CRM data system and master spreadsheets with leads and contact information
General business support to the wider team including administrative tasks such as data collation, research and feedback surveys
Updating sales and marketing materials & review each quarter & follow up email templates
Confident communicating on the telephone and face to face
Degree level education & fluency in English
Passionate about developments in retail, events, PR & media
Desire to embark upon a career in sales and marketing
You will be set monthly and annual targets to which your performance will be measured against.
