We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Paint Technician to join our team at our Chatham site.

About the Role
As a Vehicle Paint Technician at Steer, you will work on a wide range of customer vehicles, including electric and hybrid models. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Preparing vehicle surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking.
* Mixing and applying paint to match vehicle specifications using spray guns and other equipment.
* Operating our spray booth to ensure top-quality results.
* Ensuring that all work meets customer specifications and quality standards.
* Collaborating with your team to meet deadlines and provide exceptional service.
* Maintaining a clean, organised workspace, while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience as a Vehicle Paint Technician or in a similar role.
* Experience working with various types of vehicles, including electric and hybrid models.
* Strong knowledge of automotive painting techniques and materials.
* Proficiency in using paint mixing equipment and spray guns.
* A solid understanding of the accident repair industry.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
* Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
