Genmar is seeking an enthusiastic IT Apprentice to join their team and gain hands-on experience in IT support. You will be involved in a variety of tasks ranging from troubleshooting to network configuration, all while providing exceptional support to small and medium-sized businesses. A Typical Day in the Job:
1. IT Support: Provide technical assistance via ticketing system (Halo), email, phone, and face-to-face interactions, solving issues such as password resets, network troubleshooting, and system updates.
2. Security Configuration: Implement antivirus setups, configure routers, switches, andfirewalls, and manage security processes like group policy deployment.
3. Hardware Support: Configure new PCs, repair and replace damaged components, and work with wireless and wired network devices, including Wi-Fi ports and servers.
4. Cloud Technology: Get hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, AWS, and Azure cloud platforms....
