Job summary An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, professional and experienced Practice Nurse ideally with advanced certification in delivering the management of diabetes. Stourside Medical Practice is a forward thinking 6000 patient GP practice in the centre of Halesowen. We are close to the West Midlands motorway network and on bus routes from Birmingham and Wolverhampton. We are based in a modern health centre with associated community services under one roof. We are a Training Practice and have an experienced team of clinical and non-clinical staff which include a paramedic, a First Contact Physio, First Contact Mental Health worker. We are looking for someone to work 1-3 days with the ideal days being Monday/Tuesday/Friday. Full days are preferred to half days. We pay an enhanced rate for extended access shifts which are currently available to work if desired by the successful candidate. Main duties of the job Main Duties of the Job The successful candidate will need experience of working with diabetic patients whether that it is hospital/community setting or working within general practice.
