Are you an experienced pharmacy assistant who is able to perform a wide range of pharmacy services to deliver best possible care for patients? If you are, we would like to hear from you – the MSE Pharmacy Homecare and Procurement Department is currently looking for an enthusiastic, pro-active and motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join their Southend department.
Managed by the Lead homecare and procurement technician, the post holder will undertake all administrative duties associated with homecare and procurement.
Main duties of the job
* Managing Homecare Mailbox
* Printing and processing homecare invoices
* Ensuring timely invoicing of medication orders
* Managing off contract claims with suppliers
* Reviewing outstanding orders and escalating before current stock is exhausted
* Maintaining relationships with hospitals suppliers from a range of companies
* Assist and resolve supplier invoice queries
* Purchasing experience is desirable but not essential
You should have excellent communication & interpersonal skills; be motivated, flexible, adaptable and able to work well in an environment of change and transition.

Qualifications
* GCSE A to C Maths and English or equivalent
* NVQ level 2 in pharmaceutical sciences or equivalent
Experience
* Experience working with Office suite including Excel
* Previous Pharmacy Purchasing experience
* Previous experience working in the NHS
