Housing Officer
Location: Ashington
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours, Mon – Fri
Salary: £35,211 per annum (inclusive of car allowance).

About the role:
As an Income Officer, you will provide help and support to customers who may be struggling to pay their rent and facing financial difficulties, providing customers with accurate information regarding their accounts and the range of payment options that are open to them. You will monitor accounts ensuring that contact with customers is made in a timely manner and signpost customers to appropriate agencies to obtain specialist debt and benefit advice where required.
About you:
* A Good Standard of General Education, preferably with relevant professional qualification.
* Experience in a Housing Management environment with a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Housing legislation.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Advanced IT skills, particularly with Microsoft packages.
