The Role:
As HR Officer, you'll be the go-to for all things HR, ensuring the workplace thrives. From implementing HR policies to handling employee relations, recruitment, and onboarding, you'll play a key role in fostering a positive, compliant, and dynamic work environment. We are looking for someone with generalist HR knowledge and experience and someone who understands policies and how to interpret the legal side, keeping on top of current trends and laws. You will need employment law and employee relations experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR databases.
2. Oversee recruitment, including posting jobs, tracking applicants, and coordinating interviews.
3. Lead the onboarding process—contracts, training, right-to-work checks, and more.
4. Support payroll preparation and benefits enrolment.
5. Assist in organizing employee training and development activities.
6. Answer employee queries and ensure compliance with employment laws.
7. Contribute to HR projects, from policy updates to health and wellbeing initiatives.
Key Competencies:

6. Collaborative: Works well across teams, building rapport quickly.
Experience:
1. Generalist HR experience, ideally with knowledge of employment law and GDPR.
2. Legal industry experience is a plus.
3. CIPD qualification is desirable.
