* To ensure that the Facilities are maintained to the levels specified in the Performance Standards of the Project Agreement between RFM and NHS Highland.
* To undertake planned, responsive and cyclical maintenance work, either independently under the supervision of Maintenance Manager or as assistant to a maintenance tradesman.
* To undertake maintenance duties in such a manner as to support the healthcare objectives of the client and with respect for the dignity and privacy of the patient group.
* To control and coordinate subcontractors attending PPMs and reactive tasks at the site and ensuring their adherence to RFM policies and procedures.
* To ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment and tools.
HEVAC knowledge (desirable but not essential)
* Knowledge of commercial/industrial plumbing installations
* Knowledge of electrical power distribution systems/ lighting systems
* Knowledge of commercial/industrial gas installations, an accreditation in domestic equipment and dwellings would be advantageous
* Mechanical experience
* Full driving licence
The successful candidate will require a DBS/Disclosure Check, The postholder will work as part of a flexible team with continuing responsibility for the provision of a comprehensive, high quality property maintenance. Based at County Community Hospital Invergordon but covering sites throughout the North of Scotland, the postholder will be expected to undertake any property maintenance work within the postholder's range of competence.
