Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the Reception Team within the Education Campus at Oxford Road. The role is for 20 hours per week. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our small friendly team to provide an efficient reception service within the Education Campus.
You must have good customer service skills together with good interpersonal skills as you will be liaising with a diverse range of staff and external visitors. The successful candidate will be able to work independently as well as part of a team, be willing to adapt to change and learn new skills, having a good knowledge of general office procedures, together with organisational and communication skills, delivering high-quality admin support and patient care.
You will play an essential role within the team, helping to maintain and when necessary, improve good working practices and also be flexible with your contracted hours to cover staff absence.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will work as part of the Education Campus team based on the Oxford Road Campus (near Manchester Royal Infirmary). The post holder’s main role will act as the Receptionist and will be the first point of contact for all users, patients, and visitors to the Education Campus. The post holder will also assist in providing administrative support to the Events & Facilities team and assist with the processing of all room requests via the electronic booking system. The post holder will receive deliveries, ensuring they are delivered to the correct department within the Education Campus. The post holder will also help with the daily monitoring of room usage and signing in process.

* GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English or equivalent experience
