Talented TIG Welder Wanted to Drive Energy Market Success
Are you a skilled TIG Welder with a passion for precision and quality? We're looking for a dedicated individual to join our team and play a vital role in meeting our growing production demands for the global energy market. In this full-time position, you'll be instrumental in fabricating and inspecting a range of standard and custom products, adhering to established procedures, and working closely with experienced team members.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Fabrication: Prepare for fabrication by meticulously studying routing, materials, specifications, drawings, and welding parameters. Your attention to detail will be essential to ensure the highest quality products.
2. Precise Setup: Set up pipe work and steel work for welding, verifying settings through precise measurements that align with international standards.
3. Quality Assurance: Uphold specifications by following weld procedure specifications, conducting measurements, identifying malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, making necessary equipment adjustments, and ensuring adherence to quality assurance procedures.
4. Safety First: Prioritize safety by strictly adhering to safety procedures and regulations, creating a secure work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
5. Equipment Maintenance: Keep equipment in top condition by completing preventative maintenance tasks, following manufacturer instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and promptly requesting repairs when needed.
6. Thorough Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate records of your work, including material and weld location plans, weld consumable records, and grinding logs.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
7. Expert Welder: Proven experience in TIG welding and flux cored arc welding, particularly with pipework.
8. Certified Apprentice: Recognized apprenticeship or time served in the welding field, providing you with the foundational knowledge required for this role.
9. Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to work, ensuring that every weld is precise and meets the highest quality standards.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
10. Visual Inspection: Experience with visual welding inspection, showcasing your ability to assess weld quality through careful examination.
11. Diverse Experience: Familiarity with stick welding for pipework, along with the fabrication of products using Duplex stainless steel, Super Duplex stainless steel, and Inconel.
12. Mechanical Assembly: Proficiency in mechanical assembly techniques to contribute to the full manufacturing process.
13. NDT Techniques: Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques, adding an extra layer of quality control to your work.
