Role Details
* Location: Newton Abbot Crime Court (TQ12 1NG) & Torquay Family Court (TQ2 7AZ).
* Contract: Part-time, temporary (until 03/05/2025), with potential for extension.
* Pay Rate: £11.59 per hour, after 12 working weeks £11.88.
* Working Hours: Between Monday and Thursday, every Tuesday with one more day varying each week.
Key Responsibilities
* Meet and assist the public and legal professionals, ensuring courteous and efficient service.
* Set up and support remote video hearings and courtroom technology.
* Manage emails, correspondence, and internal communication with legal teams.
* Handle data entry and use court-specific software (training provided).
* Stay active, as Newton Court requires mobility and physical tasks.
* Provide ushering duties and support for hearings, fostering smooth operations.

* Successful candidates will undergo a Basic DBS check and 3 years of referencing.
