Red Star 3D are seeking a freelance UK-based BACKGROUND PAINTER to work remotely on our production of a charming stop-motion style BBC Christmas Special for Magic Light Pictures. Please note we previosly advertised this position as "MATTE PAINTER" but we've changed the title to better describe the job and attract more candidates. It's the same job and you don't need to re-apply though. YOU MUST BE BASED IN THE UK TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS POSITION. This is a work-from-home position for artists already legally residing in the UK. We cannot provide visas and we cannot consider applicants who do not already live in the UK. The job: Create digital matte / background paintings based on concept sketches and reference from the Art Director. Match the established stop-motion style of Magic Light films.
