It’s a super exciting time to join us as we begin to deliver our newly awarded Smoking Cessation support service across the Isle of Wight, and we’re looking for a Subcontractor Co-ordinator to join us!
Our programme is designed to support residents of the Isle of Wight access the support they need to stop smoking. This can be done through a number of approaches and will include the supply of Nicotine Replacement Therapies (NRT) being sent to them. Combining these, with digital, remote or face-to face appointments with Stop Smoking Advisors to support them to ensure their quit attempt is successful.
This role is perfect for a highly organised and proactive Subcontractor Co-ordinator to manage and support our network of sub-contracted pharmacies and vape stores across the Isle of Wight, contributing to the delivery of our community stop smoking service. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the service, fostering strong relationships with sub-contractors, and maintaining high standards of service delivery in line with our service targets.
A typical day as a Subcontractor Co-ordinator might include:
1. Act as the primary point of contact for sub-contracted pharmacies and vape stores.
2. Onboard new sub-contractors, agree the sign off of service level agreements, provide training, provide service promotion resources, establish clear performance expectations and reporting requirements.
3. Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with sub-contractors.
4. Regularly communicate with sub-contractors to provide updates, address queries, and offer support.
5. Monitor sub-contractor performance against agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
6. Conduct regular site visits to sub-contracted premises to ensure compliance and quality standards.
7. Coordinate the delivery of stop smoking services across the sub-contractor network.
8. Ensure timely and accurate data collection and reporting from sub-contractors.
9. Manage and distribute resources and materials to sub-contractors as required.
10. Address any service delivery issues or challenges promptly and effectively.
11. Ensure that all sub-contractors are adhering to relevant policies and procedures, including data protection and confidentiality.
12. Monitor and evaluate the quality of service delivery provided by sub-contractors.
13. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance service quality.
14. Prepare regular reports on sub-contractor performance and service delivery.
15. Attend meetings and provide updates as required.
16. Where required, support our engagement and promotional reach on the island, attending various events to help increase referral flows into the programme.
17. Working with colleagues across all of our Thrive Tribe services to contribute to new projects and service developments – we’re always looking to share knowledge and resources!
18. Ensuring due consideration is given to Information Governance and Clinical Governance legislation, requirements and guidance.
19. Helping us maintain the ethos of Thrive Tribe by driving our organisational culture forward across our services and using every opportunity to embed our values!

To work with us in this role you will have proven experience in sub-contractor management or a similar coordination role, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work independently and manage a geographically dispersed network.

Contract: part time (15 hours), permanent
Salary: Starting at £23,800 (pro rata) rising through annual increments to £25,000 (pro rata)

Location: This role is home-based, but will require regular travel throughout the Isle of Wight. The role requires applicants to be a car driver and have access to a car for this role. Please note, on occasion, some travel will also be required to Hampshire, for a monthly face to face team meeting (frequency TBC)
