The role: Multi Skilled Engineer- Days. Electrical Bias Preferred. A multiskilled engineer is required to effectively manage and maintain building systems, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of the facilities they oversee. Key responsibilities are as follows: Respond to reactive works within the team Ensure maintenance tasks are completed within agreed timescales Liaise with Clients representatives with respect to maintenance & repair tasks Undertake site surveys & produce Works Requests, Method Statements & Risk Assessments for planned works Responsible for basic fabric repairs and replacements Responsible for other building and installation works as required Complete reactive, PPM jobs & projects in a timely manner Undertake minor projects works Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Regulations In addition to the above duties, you will be expected to undertake all reasonable tasks as directed by the Technical Services Manager Person Specification: Technical training (NVQ3 or equivalent) in more than one discipline (AC, Plumbing, Mechanical, Gas, etc.) Must hold a City and Guilds level 3 technical certificate or equivalent in an electrical discipline. Must hold a City and Guilds 2382 Level 3 certificate in the requirements for electrical installations BS 7671 (18th Edition) or equivalent. Previous experience in facilities management. Organised, able to prioritise and deliver within high pressure, business critical environments. Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical delivery for client satisfaction.
