Prepworld is looking for a Factory Hygiene Supervisor, who is passionate about maintaining the highest hygiene standards, to lead the Day shift Industrial Hygiene team in a food production environment. This role focuses on managing daily hygiene operations and ensuring the highest Food Safety and Health & Safety (H&S) standards. The Hygiene Supervisor will coordinate hygiene activities across production areas, communicate instructions clearly, and motivate a large team Main duties: Supervise the hygiene team, assign tasks, and provide training in collaboration with team’s trainer, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures. Oversee team performance and development, identifying skill gaps and supporting continuous learning. Ensure that all hygiene practices adhere to safety regulations, GMP, and HACCP standards. Conduct routine inspections and audits, document findings, and recommend improvements. Address food safety and hygiene issues promptly to prevent contamination risks and minimize downtime. Ensure the team completes assigned tasks on time, maintaining comprehensive records of all activities. Oversee, document, and communicate all Food Safety and Hygiene records assigned, ensuring accurate tracking and proper record maintenance. Monitor and report KPIs and manage some administrative tasks, including tracking team attendance, holiday management, return to work procedures, and working hours from permanent and agency staff. Monitor effectiveness of task completion in conjunction of labour costs with a view to continuous improvements. Work within set budgets. Maintain a good control of site PPE and chemicals and overseeing issuance to ensure adequate supply and compliance with safety standards.
