We are pleased to announce an opening on Castle Ward, a 19-bed female acute ward dedicated to adults with mental health needs. This 24-hour facility supports working-age women (18-65) experiencing acute mental health challenges.
As Ward Manager, you will lead with confidence in the daily management of the ward. Key qualities include curiosity, creativity, self-awareness, and assertiveness, enabling you to think innovatively while staying aligned with the Trust's Vision and Values. Your role will involve responsibility for clinical and financial KPIs, working collaboratively with the Multidisciplinary Team to uphold high standards of care individually and as a team.
A commitment to delivering high-quality care should come naturally, along with an openness to change. You will foster a culture of best practices, effective communication, transparency, and equity in patient care., Manage and hold 24-hour responsibility for the provision of clinical care on a ward.
To co-ordinate and make effective use of staff, supervise staff and ensure training is maintained.
To ensure adequate staffing levels and provide clinical leadership for staff.
