The Role: Reporting to the Head of Events, the Events Manager is responsible for the smooth planning, coordination, and execution of events for The Isaac Theatre Royal including managing bookings, event quoting, overseeing event planning, and coordination and execution of each event including post-event reviews. Events can include performances, corporate and community events, and special productions that take place within the different venues.
Ideal Person: As the ideal candidate, you will have outstanding organisational and multitasking skills, able to plan and execute events with many moving parts. Familiar with delivering events on time and on budget, you will ensure events are well planned and executed, tracking and monitoring as you go. With a keen eye for detail, you will be quick to identify any issues and address them promptly. Open to continuous improvement, you will seek feedback from clients to ensure their expectations were met and satisfaction maintained and enhanced. In addition, you will have:
1. At least 3 years’ experience in event execution and support, preferably in a performing arts or theatre environment.
2. A knowledge of event management and performing arts.
3. Experience using an EMS.
4. Effective budget management and project planning skills.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
