The 17th Century Market Hall stands in the heart of our historic town, a popular destination for both locals and visitors to Warwick.
Market Hall Café
Our thriving café is popular with both locals and visitors to Warwick. Customers can drink in or take away a Monsoon Estates Coffee, try our speciality Golden Monkey teas or enjoy a glass of wine, whilst enjoying our menu of cakes, paninis, sandwiches, and toasties. We have indoor seating, plus outdoor seating in the summer months.
The Role
Each morning you and your colleagues will set up and open Market Hall Museum and Market Hall Café areas ready for the day ahead. You will then be based in our popular café for the rest of the day. The role is fast paced and varied. From making fresh paninis and serving locally sourced cakes and hot beverages, to serving customers, cleaning tables, and restocking the cafe. Our team goal is to deliver a consistent and enjoyable visitor experience, whilst generating essential income for the service.
Work Pattern
Week 1 Tues 09:30-17:10, Thurs 09:30-17:10, Sat 11:00-16:00 = 17.5 hours
Week 2 Tues 09:30-17:10, Fri 09:30-17:10, Sat 11:00-16:00 = 17.5 hours.
Week 3 Tues 09:30-17:10, Fri 09:30-17:10, Sat 11:00-16:00 = 17.5 hours
Week 4 Tues 09:30-17:10, Thurs 09:30-17:10, Fri 09:30-17:10 = 20 hours
The Candidate
Confident working within a team, you will be proactive and motivated to deliver excellent customer service within a busy working environment.
Full in-house training provided plus Food Hygiene Cert, Fire Warden, and First Aid training.
